Picture EXPLOSION!

"I'm TIRED"
It has been a whirlwind few weeks: moving, work, camp, visitors, impossible NY Times crossword puzzles, baby indications (Aunty Bec and Aunty Maura, that is for you), "nanny" Nana Anne and Grandpop leaving (sniff)...I have been delinquent in posting pictures, so this will be the start of: "photo essay: the last few weeks."

We'll start with some Glamour shots of Mee-layz (I have decided to use the "z" just because it is simply ridiculous) We have now come to the conclusion that our son looks like a small child from the 1950s. His hair stays perfectly coiffed in this side swept kind of "do." Everyone thinks we spend time brushing his hair, but it is maintenance free!

And now, let me introduce AunT and Manny Nich (okay, Uncle Nich, but we were tempted to ask him to be our man-nanny)

Finally, I promised Miles Squared, and I am delivering (your eyes are not playing a trick on you...Miles C. H and Miles L. H are 1 month apart...)

Happy Anniversary!

Thank you for all of the 2nd Anniversary well wishes! We cannot believe it has already been 2 years. Not sure my husband reads this anymore (who has time with a new baby, new house, new running camp to direct and run), but Eric, I fall more in love with you each day that passes. Memories...

Moving on up!

I may be on blog hiatus for a bit. The official move happened this weekend in record time--just about 3 hours to get out of the condo and in the house. (Read: we have the BEST friends!) We do not have Internet in the new diggs, so I won't have access to the blog to post.

In the queue for upcoming posts (my blog version of a teasers):

-When Uncle N and AunT come to Atlanta. Could Ali and Eric have a new "Manny?" or will Uncle N and AunT steal the baby to bring back with them to Miami?

-Miles Squared. When the 99th percentile meets the 1st percentile. Photo documentation provided.

-New home before and after pictures.

As a brief update, Miles is doing well. 9 weeks old and he has finally hit 8lbs! We couldn't be happier with having to finally clean neck folds.

Stay tuned...

Move over Anne Geddes!

There is not much to say in this post...except that my brother-in-law is a phenom. His amazing talent as a photographer has captured the most precious images of Miles at 3 weeks, which we will treasure for years. The pictures (each one is in color and B&W) are all located at the following site. http://gallery.rrdphoto.com/gallery/5399348_TCCNr/1/330379813_b874K#P-1-16
If anyone is in OH and looking for a good photographer, let me know. I have a good recommendation. :)

Our Yankee Doodle Dandy!

(One of our newest favorite pictures taken by Nana!)

Happy 4th of July! Miles wore his pride with a "baby's first fourth" bib. Additionally, it was Studs's birthday on the 3rd! We have a few pictures to celebrate both birthdays.

"Happy Birthday America and Happy Birthday Studs!"
"You mean I cannot give Studs a birthday hug for a few more weeks??"

"I cannot WAIT anymore! Now I am sad; so I'll hold this sign and pout until she comes to visit."
And the most recent Nicknames, which may only resonate with those with a finger on the pulse of track/field/running/cycling/The Wonder Years:

"Hiccup" El Guerrouj
"Yawn" Ullrich
Adam Gau-"choo"
"Winnie" Cooper (is our peanut a baby or a horse?)
